Once again, Rex and Terry have offered to open their delicious home to the annual Firkin Christmas Party on Saturday, December 10 from 5:00 PM until everyone is suitably goofed up on Egg Nog… As always, this is open to all of our friends in the scooter community whether you ride or not including, but not limited to the Meow SC, Squires, FYSC, Malportados, etc. Bring a delectable dish to share, beverages of your own disposition and a white elephant gift not to exceed $30.00. Our very own Sakutta Sensei (Jason) has invited you to flash your white pants for one last gasp before Labor Day. We’ll take a bleached like ride over to Vashon, avoiding muddy puddles, grease and seagull bombs to convene at a local establishment in Town for plates of very dry food..! The afternoon will be a delightful meander around the Island before heading back to Tahlequah. Prizes will be awarded for the pants that still require sunglasses to gaze upon…

What: Oh Crepes..!

Meet at: Unique Bakery, 925 Market St, Tacoma, WA 98402
This will be led by our very own Sakutta Sensei. Savor some scrumptious breakfast Crepe Suzette(s) before we take a languid bonne journee through the countryside towards Sumner where we will relish in the salty pleasures of some savory Crepes for Lunch. The afternoon will be wrapped in a tapestry of mystereuse with au revoirs exchanged at Bob’s Java Jive at the fin de la journée….
What: Squires Ride
When: Saturday, January 22, 2022. Meet at 11:00 AM, Poot at Noon
Meet: Alfred’s Café, 402 Puyallup Ave, Tacoma, WA 98421
Eric V. will be leading a wee jaunt in what looks to be hospital weather for this time of year. This ride is open to all riders and all bikes both Vintage and Modern. The tour will meander up towards Brown Point where a pit stop for adult refreshments will be entertained. There will be a return flight back into town via Milton. This is a good opportunity to identify those mysterious ailments your scoots have adopted over the winter while secluded in dark dusty storage….
What: Shaun’s Annual Rubbish Ride
When: Sunday, January 30, 2022. Meet at 10:15 AM, Poot at 11:30 AM
Meet: Rock the Dock, 535 Dock St #118, Tacoma, WA 98402
As the title suggests, this will be rubbish. Due to the usual unpredictable and inhospitable nature of January, there will probably only be an hour, if that, of riding navigating the lesser traveled byways of Tacoma ending at a suitable stop for adult Pop. This is a rare 50 cc friendly excursion. If you don’t want to ride but would like to gather at the endpoint, contact me privately for the location…
