When: Sunday, January 22, 2023, 10:00 AM, Poot at 11:00 AM

Where: Speed-E Mart,  1115 S 19th St, Tacoma, WA 98405

Yes, it’s that time of year for Shauns’ Rubbish Ride. Why is it Rubbish? Because there’s not much riding. This year we are going to sample some delicacies from a convenience store hot box, some delectable treats from a local Taco Truck and replenish our palates with desert at a higher end establishment. Be brave. The initial meet will be at the Speed-E mart on the corner of 19th and MLK in the shadow of Saint Joes which boasts an impressive selection of hot box morsels. You can even wash these down with airplane bottles of Barefoot Chardonnay, maybe some 20/20 or grab that Olde 800 from the back of the cabinet… Once our palates have been assailed we’ll navigate a circuitous route to Rico’s Taco Truck to sample their Taco delights.  Finally, we’ll adjourn to Coopers to re-energize our taste buds with refined desert whether that be cocktails or cake..!!

Per Jeff C.

As you will see the route is over 100 miles and includes some faster sections such as the Mountain Hwy. You will need to be comfortable with speeds of at least 50MPH. Unless your 50cc hauls ass this ride is probably not 50cc friendly. Please arrive at the meet up with at least a half tank of fuel. We will make one fuel stop in the town of Rainier. We will be making a brewery/cidery/bakery stop towards the end of the route and will end up the ride at Prairie Lanes, 202 E Yelm Ave, Yelm, WA 98597 for bowling. Afterwards we will make a plan for dinner and work our way to our house in Yelm, WA 98597. We will have a bonfire and Kevin will be playing some music for us throughout the evening. Everyone is encouraged to stay the night either at our house/property or at the hotel in town. Sunday we will have our meeting either at the house or maybe in town, we will leave that up to the group.
